Meet our Founders!

Kyle and Doug have been best friends since college. They quickly bonded over their shared entrepreneurial spirit and weightlifting goals. While working hard in their professions (Kyle a CPA, Doug an Attorney) they've still pursued the goal to start their own company. After kicking around ideas for over a decade, things finally clicked in 2017. Doug was traveling for work every week and hated the fact that his protein shakers took up so much space and constantly rattled in his bag. The idea for a collapsible silicone shaker bottle was born, with Kyle sketching the designs himself. What started out as a pipe dream 16 years ago in the parking lot of a YMCA in Springfield MO, has finally been realized with the launch of SummitShaker. 

As a brand, Summit represents never being satisfied with the status quo. We don’t believe in short cuts or getting lucky. We know true change, true success, comes from painstaking hard work, from small changes, from putting one foot in front of the other, again and again and again – all day long, every day. We believe nothing changes over night and that anything worth having or pursuing requires discipline and hard work. Reaching goals takes time. One step at a time.

Summit's mission is to build world class products and tools to help you reach your summit - whatever that may be - whether that is getting in shape for your family, running a marathon, pushing for a new PR, climbing a mountain, or preparing for a competition. Any goal worth achieving comes at a cost and requires discipline and action every day.
